My Week Off...On the Couch

Well, what a wonderful way to spend a week off...on the couch! Sound nice? Think again...I was sick - so sick. You name it, it hurt. I didn't get anything done, how disappointing - I had planned so much fun house stuff and instead my body decided that with all the stress from school gone it could finally let its guard down...urghhh....I am still hacking up the remnants (Yum).

Anyways, something exciting happened...I got a new job! Hooray! I will get so much good experience and I think it will be fun too - not just sitting at the computer drafting! I'll have to tell you more about it once I start...which is whenever I want. Because I was so sick this week, they said I can take another one for holiday time if I like...how nice! Not sure yet if I will, but am taking tomorrow for sure so Sean and I have one more day together, and maybe we can do some shopping (yippeee!) We need a lawnmower and a sprinkler and shades for our windows and a bunch of fun yard/house stuff like that!

Speaking of Sean...the little bugger had a little too much to drink lastnight and decided that shaving his head would be a good idea - he already had a much disliked (by me) buzz cut and wanted to take it one step further! He came home with bald spots on the sides of his head - the work of a half dead beard trimmer! haha...We had to fix it but now he figures he looks like Wentworth (the dude from Prison Break)...he doesn't (but watch that show - it is so good!)...here is the new Seanie.... What a guy!

PS ~ I think I set my comments section so that anyone can comment from now on....so drop me a line - I would love to know if anyone out there is reading these!! Haha

Finally Finished!!

Can you believe that my Moose Jaw journey has ended? I can't! Just to think that I'll never have to do homework again excites me to no end...

So did the Panty Parade get the last say? Well, a few of us snuck off from the party with some window writers and left some goodbye messages on a few of the boys' vehicles but that's about all...other than that, our year-end BBQ went great! Here is Lauren, Kelsi and I and then next one is Sean (I gave him a buzz cut) with Tara and Kelsi. We all had a great time and we started partying so early that we got to bed at a decent time too...well, besides Kelsi who stayed up talking to her old friend the porcelain potty. I think they yakked (operative word) until early morning! haha

So Congratulations to all my classmates who will never return to MJ again...and to those of you heading back for some more torture....you suckers! hehehe....I'll think of you, I promise! Happy Graduation to me!

The Pantie Parade Gets Pummeled

Well - for those of you who don't know, the Panty Parade was started by a few friends and I to provide ourselves with a little entertainment while we are stuck in Moose Jaw. We wear (new and clean) panties on our heads with pigtails hanging out the leg holes. (If you want to go 80's style - Kelsi's favourite - you can wear a side ponytail out one hole instead) And then we head out on the town to target prank our classmates vehicles with balloons and toilet paper and funny little rhyming poems. Oh, and as a signature move, we leave them a pair of panties too! It's sneaky and fun...and when your brain is mushy from school stuff, it is a good fresh breath of immaturity! Here's a pic of us on one of our first parades ever...

So anyways...we have had many successful pranks and wanted to top the year off right as we are graduating right away. The perfect opportunity came upon us - the boys from our class were getting together for a "slumber party" and watching movies all night....yeah, a little weird, but whatevs. We recruited some more girls then bought some new panties, blew up balloons, wrote some poems and waited until the dark of night was upon us. It started raining but that didn't stop us - it only made us stronger. hehe

We headed to the vehicles that weren't at the sleepover first, decorated them up and made our way to the slumber party as quietly as a bunch of girls can (not very). We even sent decoys to check out the situation. We hid on the lawn of some old man - who came out and got angry at us...and then proceeded to the target and before we could do any kind of damage the boys piled out of the house with water balloons in hand! We were caught! They pummelled us with the balloons, chasing us down the streets, making all sorts of noise...and getting really wet.

After the war was over we learned that the boys had been waiting - they had expected us all along. I think they knew we were coming before we knew we were coming!!! haha...and to make it sadder, they had just given up on us and were about to leave the house to come get our vehicles! If we had only waited 5 more minutes we could have really tricked them!

So...we have one last chance to redeem ourselves, this friday night at our year end party...I wonder if we can get away with it?
