Land of The Living Dead

Well, I am over the phase of thinking school sucks, however that doesn't change the fact that it does suck. It's not my fault it sucks either, it just does...I have become numb to it now and the most of us agree that life here in MJ is like that of a zombie. We are in a fog of vague instructions mixed with the thunder of looming deadlines...we spend each day with our eyes glued to a computer screen for up to 15 hours. We talk to our bf's and have nothing to exciting to say...it is sad.

Tonight at supper we decided to make our own fun and prank call some friends - one of which included our roomie on her cell so we could hear her in the other room getting all mad at "sasktel" over a problem that she has tried to fix a hundred times in real life already! - we had a big laugh. But zombies don't laugh, do they?

One more exciting thing (for the neighbours)...we discovered today that our new bathroom window, which is full height and located in the shower, is a little more than slightly transparent! We are going to do another test later tonight but we are pretty much sure we have been unknowingly flashing the neighbourhood for the past few weeks...however, now that we know we can really put on a show! Woo hoo!

School Sucks

Seriously, it sucks. The only good thing about it is the end...which I am happy to say that, for me, the end will be in 4 months. Hooray! I can't wait to have that stinking expensive diploma in my hand. Everyone I've talked to who has graduated from this program before me has told me to just think of it as buying a piece of paper...because we sure didn't buy much of an education! They could have warned me before I got here! However, I do have to admit that it was naive of me to think I might actually learn things that are relative to the industry we will work in when we graduate. I mean, what would be the point of that? Reminds me of this little quote I found:
